TAEKWONDO VS MUAY THAI

i've practised taekwondo for many years and i believe that every martial art is unique and it's a subjective thing to be compared because it depend on how the martial artist use it...not because this martial art is better than that martial art...respect each other is one of discipline thought by every martial art to its martial artist...

I love how people put down BJJ by saying you can't beat multiple attackers on the street. It's funny cause a TKD guy can't even beat one BJJ guy on the street.

no martial art is the best. idk why MT fighters says they can whoop TKD fighters ass most of the time. Why dont MT fighters brag of how JKD or BJJ whoop their ass?and BJJ cant best,it is mostly grappling. how are you going to wrestle agianst 2-5 people in the street? no martial is best and it does depend on the fighter...and the damn moves he does in a fight

I am trained in both TKD & Muay Thai, therefore I koe the pros & cons for both arts. No martial art in the world is the best, its only who is the best fighter, so lets dun insult any art, respect all martial arts & fighters....

Experience is definitely the factor not just the style. The MT guy showed any real fighting experience and was winded out barely the first 15-20 seconds. If both stylist would have had the same knowledge, skills, and experience in each other own perspective arts, either would have won, then it would be about who would go the extra mile to win the match.

i think taekwondo won this time because the MT guy kept trying to get into punching distance, letting the tkd guy do those kicks.

i do taekwondo nd BJJ, nd i have 2 say brazillian jiu-jitsu is THE BEST but taekwondo is definitly THE 2ND BEST

That's not really good tkd , i do it myself and i dont keep knocking people down like he does , also did know that if the mt guy moved faster could catch the tkd in the ground and he'd be bad. That's not the very best i've seen on tkd

TKD and MT are both pretty awsome....but the user is the factor which decides the win ^ ^

ive trained in both. i bet the tkd guy has trained for alot more years that mauy thai looked like he was only starting out. an experianced mauy thai fighter wud have destroyed him

A good muay thai fighter will beat any TKD fighter. A TKD fighter stands no chance in a clinch being bombarded by knees and elbows

Not wildly impressed with either. MT guy had plenty of heart and TKD player very fast, but relying on the MT guys poor evasive skills. MT should have closed him down and clinched him up right from the beginning. A bit of head movement and footwork would have helped him as well

I do TKD, but I think the same as the 3rd last comment, he has no technique. He shouldn´t fall down.

Let's not compare by TKD or Muay thai. It depends on the user, how the user makes use of their martial art.

Taekwon-Do's great (i'm biased being a tkd'er myself) but this guy did keep throwing himself to the floor which is v bad form for tkd

I do a bit of both and so I don't have a preference but one weakness of TKD fighters which I saw in this video is that if they only do TKD they're in serious trouble when they're in the Thai neck-clinch. If the ref hadn't have stepped in the result might have been the other way round. As a primarily-TKD fighter I'd liked to have seen the TKD fighter in this video do more than just throw 1 fast kick and fall over, it's poor form and doesn't show the art in a very good light at all.

im a tkd guy myself but ive heard that they take wack ass muay thai fighters to fight top tkd fighters and make it look like tkd is the best
