To the Kuukiwon guy: I am not an ATA Black Belt but the theory is equally as absurd that I need a Korean guy to sign a piece of paper giving validity to my technique, my spirit, my ability, and my blood, my sweat, my pain, and my victories over the last 30 years of training, teaching, and mentoring hundreds of martial artists. In my opinion.

ATA is not taekwondo, by definition. It is a martial arts form based on taekwondo. Some of the moves in this match were decent. However, stopping and re-setting a match (i.e. point sparring) is not very realistic. I hope that people who join ATA recognize that their "black belts" are good ONLY at other ATA facilities (as opposed to Kukkiwon-certified dans).

Video submitted by TKDALLINYOURFACE. USAT is "all in your face" taekwondo, not ATA.

Join USA Taekwondo Tournaments, not ATA tournaments and do real TKD competitions. You can't make the real US TKD team nor make to the Olympics through ATA.
