<p>This is a fantastic short video... please forward this to any friends who have been in street fights or might be.</p> <p>Situation: Guy #1 on the left was becoming aggravated. Guy #2 made a pre-emptive (and very successful) attack.</p> <p>1. Notice the guy's classic defensive position while talking. His left hand is up to his face in a casual way, but it's really there for blocking should guy #1 swing with his right. Often the right hand would be folded across the elbow of the left to make striking faster.</p> <p>2. Guy #2 Makes his strike: an open-hand slap. This motion is powerful enough for a knockout (as you can see!) because it's similar to a boxing hook. Aim slightly deep.</p> <p>3. The open-hand part is important. If the matter goes to court, a ;quot;slap;quot; can be different than a closed-fist strike.</p> <p>4. Since guy #1's hands were still in his pockets, the attack might be a little premature. But if weapons are suspected, no chances are taken.</p> <p>5. Guy #1 is put in the standard ;quot;recovery position;quot; immediately after. This aids the unconscious person in breathing and draining any fluids from the mouth. If guy #1 choked to death, #2 would be up for manslaughter or worse.</p> <p>6. #2 took off. Not a bad idea... people don't usually remember the last few minutes after being knockout out, so #1 might never remember the argument. Better to get out before he sees your face... you don't need more enemies.</p> <p>7. If there were no bystanders (there were in the video), you should call the police, and ambulance, or at least watch them recover from a distance to make sure they're alright.
